It is possible!!!
Silkman sent me 2 new pictures of his catches. And you know what? one of them is containing coins!
He is from Romania, and apparently coins in Romania are magnetic, awesome for him, because in Denmark where i live, we have no magnetic coins. :(

And he also caught a nice fishing hook also.

Hi!

I am also from Romania, moved to Denmark 4 years ago and very passionate for metal detecting. In my area (Sjælland) I did find some danish coins that are made of iron which means they are magnetic. Here's some of the danish modern coins made of iron that can be fished with a magnet:
- 1 Øre - Christian X 1918-1919
- 2 Øre - Christian X 1918-1919
- 5 Øre - Christian X 1918-1919

If you don't live too far from Copenhagen and you would like to see what coins I've found in Denmark while metal detecting so far, feel free to contact me.
