That turned out to be a good choice since we got many exciting things during the magnet fishing trip. To see what we caught, continue to read below, otherwise, you should definitely check out my best magnet fishing finds so far.

The first thing we caught I thought was a grenade, and I was instantly ready to call the bomb squad, since I was 100 % sure it was a grenade we had on the magnet. See picture below.

But guys, I have some bad news for you, it wasn't our most dangerous magnet fishing find so far. It was actually quite a boring catch, it was the exhaust pipe from a moped. At the same bridge we also caught a long chain, but otherwise, nothing good right there.
Luckily, the three next bridges we checked out made all three of us cheer many times.

Magnet Fishing Finds At Bridge Number 2

The first of our magnet fishing finds at bridge number 2, were also quite boring, a bicycle handle, a bike chain, a fishing net and an iron pipe, for pictures, see below.

Now, lets move on to the exciting stuff from bridge number 2.
Daaaamn, it must really be exciting, if it is more exciting than an iron pipe you say to your self, and yes, this is awesome! :D

Pocket knife found during magnet fishing

After catching the boring stuff, my friend Claus, caught a pretty nice pocket knife.

You see, know it gets a little better than those other catches. On the other side of the knife, there was a small really pointy rod which I have no clue about what it is used for, do any of you guys know that?

The most exciting thing we caught at bridge number 2, looked like it was the door from a small safe. As you see on the first picture below, there is a key hole right in the middle of the door, which made use believe it was from a safe, together with locking mechanism which can be seen on the second picture and the thickness of it.

Unfortunately we did not find the rest of the safe, but there was something heavy down there, which we couldn't pull up, even though we used 3 of the large magnets.

Magnet Fishing Finds At Bridge Number 3

At bridge number three, we only got one catch, but that didn't ruin our mood, because the catch were really really awesome! What was it? It was a bike. A bike you say!? That really isn't that awesome is it???

But dear friend, look further below, and you will find out, why this catch was really awesome :D

Why was this catch awesome and made us laugh a lot?

Look at the handlebar of the bike we caught, what is that hanging there huh?

It for sure looked like a bike tire.

Carefully we pulled up the first bike until we could grab the tire hanging on the handlebar.
We pulled in the tire, and OMG YES! it was another bike following the tire up above the water surface. That meant that we from one catch got two bikes, and only with one single magnet :-O

Even though we were already happy since we got two catches in one, the cheering wouldn't stop there.
In the lake where we were magnet fishing with our neodymium magnets, people also go "normal" fishing, which resulted in some fishing tackle being stuck to the bikes we found.

Since I am both magnet fishing and "normal" fishing in these lakes myself, I am always happy for these types of side catches, since I am able to take them home and put them in my own fishing tackle box.

From bridge number three, I have kept the ultimately best magnet fishing find for last.
Some times I take the things we catch home with me, if it is something I can use, and I for sure did that with this last catch at bridge number three. For a picture of the very exciting magnet fishing find, see below.

Ohhh Yeaaaaah, new briefs for me, now I don't have to buy new ones, and can use the money on strong neodymium magnets instead :D

Magnet fishing finds at bridge number 4

The first thing we caught at bridge number four was a really old shopping cart.
It was really rust and big parts of it had corroded away.

The fun thing about this shopping cart was, that is was much much smaller than the ones we use today, because they make them bigger and bigger so we buy more.

But the excitement wouldn't stop with the shopping cart, apparently, right below the shopping cart, there was a lot of jewelry buried in the mud right below the shopping cart.

But sadly, if I follow my own rule of thumb, then magnetic jewelry is not really worth anything.
I think the only way one could catch really expensive jewelry, would be if it where contained inside a magnetoc box like in this magnet fishing find here.

The last thing we caught on this magnet fishing trip were some dog tags from someone who was born on 28th of July 1996, I really hope that the rest of the guy isn't down there XD
