Which method is the best when you go magnet fishing?
When I go magnet fishing I always try out many different techniques.
The ones I use is:
The up and down
This is the method for the person who wants to catch everything the magnet touches.
You walk on the bridge and lift the magnet up and down, in this way you won't lose anything by dragging it on the bottom. It is not that effective, and the area you cover is a lot smaller than the two other methods the throw and pull
This method should be the method you use most of the time.
Just throw the magnet away from the bridge and pull it in. Some of the times you will lose the things you catch because it gets caught on something on the bottom. If you want to search the area away from the bridge this is the only good method to use! The throw, pull and walk
I use this method when I search the area right next to the bridges.
I throw the line parallel with the bridge, pull until the rope tightens, the I walk to the place my magnet is, and then I pull it up without dragging it against the bottom. I find this method very effective, and always use it when it is possible. |
